For everything there is a season...

We recently sent out our monthly e-newsletter. There were a few type-ohs, and we wanted to make sure that everyone who has been part of our extended faith family is informed of some updates in our life. Below is the message that was sent to everyone on our e-mail list:

A season to reflect and rebalance

Over the years, we have been blessed to serve with each of you in the ministry of Eight Days of Hope. This time together has been encouraging, challenging, and very fruitful. You have cheered us on, we have carried each other, we have overcome obstacles to serve others in God's name, you have coached us, we have prayed together, you name it...everything you would expect believers to do who are in community together. As COV-19 slowed many of us down, this season has given us the ability to reflect and shine light on areas in our life that needed attention.

Today, we are sharing with you some hard but joyful news. We have been praying and fasting for the past four weeks that God would provide us wisdom, direction, and answers to prayers. Some of those answers mean that it is a season to change for us. As a result, in recent meetings with leadership, "we" have resigned from Eight Days of Hope in order to rebalance our life and focus on God first and foremost and our marriage & family. We realize that this not only impacts the family under our roof, but many families, including yours. We don't take this lightly, but we also want to walk in obedience.

Many of you have been faithfully supporting and encouraging us for a long time. We thank you for your faithfulness. We understand that you have options, and we pray that you would consider supporting us to this date while we pray, fast, and seek God's direction. We plan to keep you updated as we understand clearly where the Lord is moving us. We covet your prayers and are immensely grateful for your support!

Thank you so much, you are loved!

Chris, Niki, Cameron, Christian, and Lilly Grace

"For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; a time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace." Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 ASV
